The company Dr. Heinrich Schneider Optotechnische Fabrik was founded in 1947 by dr. Heinrich Schneider. At that time, the company was manufacutring spectacle lenses. In 1973 the company was taken over by the company Allit. It was decided to take advantage of the knowledge gained in the fields of optics and mechanics to develop and manufature high quality electronic optical measuring machines for industrial use. Since then, the competences are joined continously and anew in high quality measuring machines which ensure us the highest possbile accuracy and precision.
Dr. Schneider Messtechnik measuring machines are today used in well-known companies all around the world, but especially in automotive and medical industries and by manufacturers of construction machinery, tools, electronic components and plastic. Many leading companies from airline industry carry out measurements with Dr. Schneider Messtechnik measuring machines. Among their clients are also Formula 1 companies and calibration laboratories.
The main activites of the company Schneider Messtechnik is the development and manufacture of measuring projectors, 3D measuring machines for shafts and turned parts, 3D coordinate measuring machines, 3D measuring machines for measuring tools, 3D laser scanners, microscopes, optical measuring machines and software.
