In 1907 the professors Henry Vaquez and Charles Laubry from the Pitié-Salpétriere in Paris invented the first aneroid blood pressure manometer in the world. They named it VAQUEZ-LAUBRY. Later that year they joined Emile SPENGLER and together they founded the company SPENGLER in Paris.
In the last century SPENGLER has become one of the world leading manufaturers of mechanic blood pressure manometers. The company broadened its knowledge and started manufacturing medical equipment for other fileds. SPENGLER's development is based on the company's knowledge and research. It has become a synonim for quality which is carried from one generation of medical experts to the next.
Today's manufacturing programme includes all types of blood pressure manometers for professional and home use, stethoscopes, ENT medical equipment anf thermometers for measuring the body temperature.
