Pipette Calibration

Calibration aims to confirm that the pipette continues to meet the manufacturer’s specifications or the ISO 8655-6 standard, ensuring accurate results.

Following ISO 8655-6, the following measurements are performed:

• For single-channel fixed volume pipettes – 10 measurements
• For single-channel adjustable volume pipettes – 30 measurements (10 measurements at each of 10 %, 50 %, and 100 % of nominal volume)
• For multi-channel adjustable pipettes – between 120 and 360 measurements (depending on the number of channels)

Additional volume points can be tested upon prior agreement.

Preventive Inspection of Pipettes with Cleaning

The preventive inspection includes:

• Thorough cleaning
• Complete functional check of the pipette
• 2 x 5 measurements (at minimum and maximum volume)
• An inspection report with results

We offer preventive inspection of single-channel pipettes at a promotional price of EUR 24 + VAT during May, June, and July 2025.

If the pipette is out of tolerance, we will inform you and, upon request, do the necessary repairs.

Repairs and spare parts are not included in the preventive maintenance price.

Frequency of pipette inspections depends on:

• Frequency of use
• Number of users
• Type of liquid handled (aggressiveness)
• Tolerance requirements defined by the user

We provide mid-period pipette inspections, accompanied by a detailed report of the results.

You will receive a Calibration certificate after each calibration. The certificate ensures the traceability of your measuring instruments, tabular and graphical accuracy and precision results with measuring uncertainty. The calibration certificate complies with the necessary international standards, technical guidelines and your specific needs.
