As a company, we are committed to achieving zero environmental impact by the next anniversary (year 2031).
We will rely on the company’s sustainable strategy and place great emphasis on digitization processes.
With annual carbon footprint calculations and financial support for carbon offset projects, we will neutralize the company’s own carbon footprint by 2031, thus achieving zero environmental impact.
Sustainability strategy
The basis of sustainable strategic transformation is the Sustainable Strategy of LOTRIČ Metrology 2020–2025, prepared by the company as part of the SPIRIT Slovenia public tender for “Promoting the development and use of new business models to facilitate integration into global value chains”. In doing so, we followed the goals of the United Nations, Agenda 2030, and relied on the section on “innovative sustainable products and services”, “low carbon footprint management” and the section “committed employees”. A large part of the carbon footprint is created by business routes. In order to avoid unnecessary burdening on the environment, we have therefore developed an application for planning work in the field, with the help of which we optimize the routes of more than 40 laboratory assistants who are present daily in the field. An important step is the establishment of the Center of Excellence to provide sustainable solutions in the field of logistics value chains, which offers support primarily to the food, pharmaceutical and automotive industries.
