Ohterwise the period is determined according to the standards or recommendations for ensuring the quality of measuring devices SIST ISO 10012, ILAC-G24 / OIML D10.

WHAT IS BLOOD PRESSURE
Blood pressure is the force with which the blood works on the walls of blood vessels. It is created by the heart, which pulses seventy times per minute on average. When the heart contracts and sends blood to the main artery (aorta), the blood pressure momentarily increases – we name it peak or systolic blood pressure. After every compression the hearts again expands, so it can fill with new blood – that is when the pressure in the blood vessels momentarily decreases and we name it minimum or diastolic blood pressure. Blood pressure value is expressed with two numbers: peak (systolic) and minimum (diastolic) blood pressure.
Blood pressure changes over the day. It is highest in the morning and lowest in the evening before going to sleep. It changes due to various influences, therefore it is recommended to measure at a certain time in the day and same physical load.
