Measuring devices for roadworthiness test and car repair workshops
MEASURING DEVICES FOR MEASURING VEHICLE EXHAUST GASES
Measuring devices for measuring vehicle exhaust gases on roadworthiness tests are controlled in accordance with recommendation OIML R99, which includes tests of:
- Linearity,
- Reproducibility,
- Response,
- Lambda calculation correctness.
Recommendation manufacturers and repairers is:
- performing inspection for measuring exhaust gas (petrol) and,
- performing inspection for measuring exhaust gas (diesel) at 1 year.

BRAKE CYLINDERS
Devices with cylinders for testing brake force of motor and trailer vehicles are controlled in accordance with standard ISO 21069, which includes tests:
- cylinder wear
- linearity
- reproducibility
- indication difference between cylinders
As part of the brake cylinders of calibration must be made to:
- scales for determining the weight of vehicles,
- manometers for measuring pressure in the brake system.
Recommendation manufacturers and repairers is:
- performing inspection of brake cylinders every year.

Tire pressure measuring devices and on machines for re-fitting tires are controlled in accordance with recommendation OIML R23, which includes tests:
- scale linearity

INSPECTION PERIOD
The inspection process of measuring devices serves as a technical part of accreditation. The inspection can thus be carried out in connection with the accreditation period which is determined by the law.
Ohterwise the period is determined according to the standards or recommendations for ensuring the quality of measuring devices SIST ISO 10012, ILAC-G24 / OIML D10.
