Can you trust your materials to perform as promised?
With tensile and compression testing of metals, we evaluate the strength, ductility, and elasticity of materials - critical properties that determine the safety and reliability of your products. Through ICP-OES chemical analysis, we also reveal the exact elemental composition of the materials, down to the finest detail.

Tensile and Compression Testing of Metals and Material Identification – Why is this important?
- Ensure your materials meet industry standards.
- Confirm supplier specifications with confidence.
- Prevent costly claims and damage caused by non-compliant materials.
Tensile and compression testing provide insight into key mechanical properties:
- Yield strength is the stress at which a material begins to deform plastically, indicating its ability to withstand loads without permanent deformation.
- Tensile strength measures the maximum stress a material can endure while being stretched before breaking, reflecting its ultimate load-bearing capacity.
- Elongation is a measure of ductility, showing how much a material can stretch before it fractures, which is crucial for applications requiring flexibility.
- The modulus of elasticity, or Young’s modulus, provides insights into a material’s stiffness and ability to return to its original shape after deformation.
We perform testing on a wide range of materials, including raw metals, wires, and flat or round specimens.
Our testing is conducted according to the ISO 6892-1:2019 standard, which outlines the method for tensile testing of metallic materials at room temperature.

Chemical Analysis of Metals Using ICP-OES
- This method is destructive but highly precise, delivering results with an accuracy of (0.3–2) %.
- Only a small sample is required – approximately 3 grams.
- Suitable for all metallic materials and alloys.
- Used to confirm material compliance or to identify unknown materials.
