For the purpose of confirming valid certificates issued by the certification/notified body LOTRIČ Metrology.
Laboratory for testing and certification of face masks
In the LOTRIČ Metrology Group, we perform testing of face masks. In addition to already produced masks, we also test materials intended for their production in the development phase. We are a notified body NB 2897 for personal protective equipment (PPE (EU) 2016/425) and we carry out the certification procedure for the FFP protective masks.
- Performing tests is crucial to determine the conformity of face masks. After the tests have been carried out, the client obtains test reports, based on which they can determine the conformity of the final product.
- The certification of protective masks is a process in which the manufacturer is obliged to involve a third independent party (notified body) to assess the conformity of the product with modules B and C2 or D. After obtaining the certificates, the manufacturer obtains the possibility of using the CE marking.
